The letter
A letter at the end of each month.
What we published, what we found, what we decided to hold back, and where we are going next. It arrives once, at the close of the month.
One letter a month. Unsubscribe from the foot of any issue.

Check your email.
You signed up from this browser. One click in the note we sent confirms it, and nothing is sent until you do.
Not in your inbox? Look in spam or junk. A first note from an address you have never written to often lands there; marking it as not spam keeps the letter itself out.

The archive
The first letter has not gone out yet.
Every issue is kept here once it has been sent, in full and without a sign-up wall.

What signing up means
One email a month, from us, about our own work. Your address is used for the letter and kept private — it is never sold, rented or passed to anyone buying an audience.
Every issue carries an unsubscribe link at the foot, and it works on the first click. Leaving takes no email to us and no reason given.
The archive stays public and complete. Nothing published in the letter is later put behind a sign-up.
